Frequently asked questions

A new-build handover report covers a property being handed over for the first time. It compares the actual condition of the property against the contractual plans and technical specifications. A standard inspection compares the condition of a property between two occupants. Both require the same rigour.

The presence of the buyer (or their authorised representative) is compulsory at a new-build handover. The buyer accepts or rejects the property and signs the handover report including any snagging list.

Each snag is documented with photographs and a precise description. During the snagging sign-off visit, I compare the current state point by point against the original list to confirm that corrections have been properly completed.

I cover a 15 km radius around Bordeaux, encompassing the entire metropolitan area. For developments further afield, please contact me to discuss feasibility.
